Preparing to work in Adult Social Care Level 3 Skills Bootcamp

Reach your potential with the Preparing to work in Adult Social Care Level 3 Skills Bootcamp, providing an ideal taster for those who may be new to the care sector or new to the world of work. It is accessible to learners who want to understand more about working in health and social care in an unsupervised capacity.

The qualification covers the areas of communication, equality, diversity and inclusion, personal development, role of the social care worker, handling information, health and safety, safeguarding, duty of care and person-centred approaches.

Eligibility

Age: 19+, residing in Greater London
Must have the right to live and work in the UK
No prior Boot Camp between April 1, 2024 – August 31 2025
Open to unemployed, self-employed and employed

Unemployed: Free
Self-Employed: Free
Employed: To be paid by the employer:
 SME employer (under 250 staff): £400.00
 Large employer (250+ staff): £1,200.00

Schedule

Runs for 8 weeks, with sessions held three times per week.
10am to 2pm
Total Hours: 190 hours
- Blended learning (online and face-to-face)

Unit 08: Understand health and safety in social care settings
Unit 09: Understand how to handle information in social care settings
