Overview
On this programme you will develop a good understanding of the nature of business management in a rapidly-changing world powered by technology.

A key feature of the course is to integrate both academic study and skills development in order to enhance the employability of every student.

You will gain key skills, such as empathy, problem-solving and creativity, which will ensure you are well-equipped to enter the employment market with today's demands. These skills are increasingly important in a world with technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are now fulfilling key business activities.

The course will teach you how technology is impacting business, so that you understand how innovation and improvements are essential to business and organisations.

Assessment
Your assessment will consist of coursework, written exams including time constrained assessments and practical exams.

The assessment strategy is underpinned by the course learning outcomes. The assessment methods will vary according to your route linked to the destination Masters you have chosen. Each assessment will be looking for evidence that you have achieved the specific learning outcomes of the module and the broader learning outcomes of the course.
Entry requirements
Application based on previous qualifications:

If you are applying based on your previous qualifications, you will usually have achieved a minimum of 90 credits from a Level 3 qualification such as A Levels or BTECs
​
Mature learner 21+:
​
If you are applying as a mature learner (aged 21+) and do not have the above qualifications, you can apply via our assessment based entry and we will consider your prior experiences (work, voluntary, life and other experiences) that are relevant to the course.
​
You will be required to complete the following:
​
1. Provide a Personal Statement
2. English Language Test (with a minimum 70% score, equivalent to IELTS 6.0)
3. Maths Test (Score 50%)
4. Complete a SAPE Assessment (Screening for Accreditation of Prior Experience)
5. Applicants will also be invited to attend an Interview

On successful completion of the programme, you will be well prepared to progress to a range of opportunities and careers in general management or to develop your own business. You will have gained a wide range of knowledge and skills, so that you can pursue a career in any profession or business role, such as operations and service management, customer management, project management, retail management.
