We believe everyone deserves a chance to have a good quality education with equal opportunities.

We support students with:

  • Learning difficulties

  • Mental health

  • Disabilities

 

If you have any kind of disability, please let us know when you are completing an application so we can support you in the right way.

You should contact us if you have:

​

  • A particular learning difficulty for instance; dyslexia, dyspraxia or ADHD.

  • Social communication deficiency such as autistic disorder and Asperger’s syndrome.

  • Chronic health conditions such as cancer, HIV, diabetes, heart disease or epilepsy.

  • Mental health disorders such as a depression, schizophrenia or anxiety 

  • Physical issues such as difficulty moving or using arms or legs.

  • Hearing impairment (deaf).

  • A serious visual impairment such as blindness.

  • Providing advice and information on Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSAS)

  • Sensible adjustments to aid your study comfort.

  • Access to all services within the university including mental health support.
